The first documented hybridization in North America between the Asian leopard cat and a domestic cat was in the 1970's. However, it was the mid-1980's in which there was a concerted effort to produce a breed of cat mimicking the appearance of the Asian leopard with a domestic personality. This cat is called a Bengal.

But I had the typical mormon wedding, planned in 3 months, so I didn't have a lot of time to dwell on it!! I bet yours is going to be so beautiful.
